The Syrian-Iranian occupation adopted an infernal plan to crumble the Lebanese State based on three principles: Weakening the military institution of the army and security forces, establishing sectarian militias to fill the void left by the national army and disseminating the corruption and bribery in the ruling political class.
The Syrian regime started since early 1990s to dismantle and weaken the Lebanese army quietly and with thoughtful approach, beginning with the destruction of the army backbone by tamping the Lebanese air force when Emile Lahoud was the army Commander, where Syria made pressures on the Lebanese Government to sell Mirage E3 Squadron, formed of ten planed owned by the Lebanese air force with 500 “Matra magic” missiles that stand at half a million dollars, to Pakistan at a very low price estimated at ninety-eight million dollars.
In order to destroy the leadership of the military institution, the Lebanese army officers were sent to Syria to undergo training sessions instead of the foreign military missions to Europe and USA. The Syrian regime and Hizbollah worked to prevent the Lebanese army from possessing modern weapons by refusing many donations and grants offered to the Lebanese army from Arab and European States.
In return, shipments of weapons in large quantities have been delivered to Hezbollah, which include the latest anti-tank weapons and unmanned planes and more than 100,000 rockets of all sizes.
Syrian-Iranian occupation deliberately disseminated the corruption and bribery in the ruling political class, where nearly 50 billion dollars have been stolen in the Department of energy, which kept under the control of Syria allies since the end of the civil war, moreover, the thefts in the communications Ministry and others.
The Syrian-Iranian plan in Lebanon, reached tough challenges prevented it from occupying the Lebanese State by Hezbollah militia after the uprising of the Cedar Revolution followed by the withdrawal of the Syrian army from Lebanon.
Today, Bashar Al-Assad is at the point of falling, and Hezbollah is drinking the bitter defeats with Bashar and Qassem Soleimani’s forces. And listening to Nasrallah public talk about the “Castle” Brigade, which includes large numbers of criminals, drug dealers and sentenced men residing in Bekaa, among them Noah Zuaiter, and who are Shiite clans facing Arsal sunni residents, we realize that we have a perfect recipe for a severe sectarian war that starts from Lebanon’s borders with Syria and moves later to Beirut and North Lebanon.
The sectarian war planned by Iran in Lebanon is a war that began nearly a year ago. They started by obstructing the election of the President of the Republic, followed by obstructing the government work on the pretext of security nominations, to the attempt of bringing it down by provoking riots during environmental organizations demonstrations in central Beirut. Near Al Amine mosque, young men cheering “Shiites, Shiites, Shiites,” and then, “cannabis, cannabis, we want to legalize the cannabis” and “Mahdi is back”, which clearly indicates who is behind this movement that took advantage of the civil gathering to bring down the government and spread chaos.
